Microneedling

Restore your skin’s radiant, youthful glow with professional microneedling treatments that target and treat signs of aging including:

  • Dehydration
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Age spots
  • Loss of firmness or smoothness

Microneedling works by using tiny needles to penetrate your skin, encouraging collagen production and cell renewal without causing too much damage or discomfort. Microneedling treatments are typically completed quickly (in under half an hour), and patients experience minimal downtime afterwards.

Brampton Cosmetic offers two types of microneedling treatments: Beauty Booster treatments and InnoPen microneedling treatments.

Beauty Booster Microneedling

Brampton Cosmetic offers Beauty Booster microneedling treatments, a pioneering advancement from the makers of Teosyal and the Teosyal Pen. Beauty Booster procedures combine two potent technologies—the V2 Injector Gun and Redensity [I].

Unlike traditional microneedling treatments, during a Beauty Booster session the Injection Specialist actually injects hyaluronic under your skin in order to treat more advanced issues and reveal longer lasting results.

The V2 Injector

The secret to the V2 Injector’s success is in its precision. It allows the Injection Specialist to place the exact right amount of product in the perfect spot and at the ideal depth—making treatments faster, customizable, and comfortable:

  • Treatments performed with the V2 Injector are typically done in less than30 minutes. Using the V2 Injector, the Injection Specialist is able to place the Beauty Booster more reliably and accurately than with alternative methods, ensuring an effective and rapid treatment.
  • The V2’s multi-needle design lets the Injection Specialist tailor your treatment, choosing nine needles for larger areas like your cheeks or only five for smaller spots like your hands.
  • The V2 Injector is designed to apply in-built suction to the skin before every injection, reducing sensation. It also increases the speed of the procedure and evenly disperses intensity between multiple points to make you more comfortable and provide a precise, uniform treatment.

The V2 Injector can be used in a range of areas including your face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

Redensity [I]

Redensity [I] is a unique hyaluronic acid. It’s non-cross-linked, which makes it lighter and the results softer, and contains effective natural components like amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. This potent combination helps to stimulate collagen production and encourage your skin’s natural renewal.

Results

Microneedling treatments will leave you with skin that looks and feels softer, smoother, healthier, and more youthful.

A full Beauty Booster treatment comprises three sessions. These will be spread out over roughly three months at three to four week intervals. Results last for up to twelve months, though you’ll need to schedule additional Beauty Booster treatments once or twice per year to maintain your results over the long term.

InnoPen Microneedling

This innovative medical needling device uses surgical-grade micro-needles to perforate your skin in a stamp-like motion in order to simultaneously prevent tears while activating your skin’s natural healing processes.

The InnoPen is one of the safest methods of collagen induction therapy available and is recommended for people looking to address a variety of issues including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Large pores
  • Sun damaged skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Scars
  • Sagging skin

InnoPen treatments work with Environ® skincare solutions. For best results, we recommend scheduling 4-8 sessions (depending on the severity of the issues being treated) spaced roughly two weeks apart.

Microneedling FAQs

What’s the difference between Beauty Booster and InnoPen treatments?

Traditional microneedling treatments like InnoPen work by making tiny pin-pricks on the dermis in order to draw blood to the surface and immediately prompt your skin’s natural healing processes, including the production of collagen and elastin. Beauty Booster treatments go a step further by injecting hyaluronic under your skin in order to treat more advanced issues and reveal longer lasting results.

Why are collagen and elastin important?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our connective tissues. It makes up 70% of them and is responsible for determining our skin’s texture and shape. Elastin, the second most predominant protein, gives our skin its flexibility. To create new and healthy collagen and elastin, your skin needs to have sufficient amounts of both vitamin A and vitamin C.

Will Beauty Booster Microneedling treatments add volume?

Although microneedling treatments excel at softening, soothing, and smoothing your skin, please keep in mind that they are not designed to add volume. If a plumping effect is what you’re looking for, we would recommend considering alternative dermal fillers like Teosyal, Juvederm, or Restylane and Perlane.

How long do microneedling treatments take?

Sessions typically last between 20 and 30 minutes, though the duration ultimately depends on the patient’s desired outcomes and the condition of treatment areas.

Will I require pain relief?

This depends on factors including the area being treated and the thickness of your skin, though Brampton Cosmetic commonly applies a topical numbing agent to ensure your comfort throughout each treatment session.

When can I return to work and begin normal activities?

We recommend avoiding strenuous activities, not sleeping on the injection site, and resting with your head elevated immediately after the procedure.

Overall, your microneedling treatments will not require much downtime. At most you might experience a small amount of discomfort and a few tiny spots at the injection point, but these inconveniences usually disappear quickly. We encourage you to return to work and daily activities once symptoms subside.

How long do the results last?

Results are seen immediately after the first session. The treated skin has better colour, is less creased, is more hydrated, and becomes more supple. Gradually, from one session to the next, the complexion looks increasingly radiant and the skin becomes firmer.

Can I receive microneedling treatments if I am prone to or have cold sores?

If you suffer from the herpes simplex virus (cold sores), please make sure you advise us. We will ask you about this prior to your treatment and on your health questionnaire.

In most cases we would advise against receiving microneedling treatments if you have active cold sores, as that can cause the rashes to spread. If the virus has been dormant for some time, we still require that you take any medication that has been prescribed both before and after any treatment sessions to reduce the risk of reactivating it. Brampton Cosmetic can provide you with a prescription for an antiviral medication if required.
